What's in The ABT Audi A3 Body Kit?
ABT Front Spoiler
Mounts over the factory front bumper spoiler and is designed to only fit the non-S line Audi A3. Use of the factory fog lights is retained.
ABT Front Fender Inserts
Trademark ABT item which adds to the A3's power hatch image. This is a working fender vent that requires cutting of the A3's factory front fenders.
ABT Side Skirts
Designed to match the ABT front and rear spoilers, ABt's side skirts link the front and rear styling elements into a single cohesive body kit.
ABT Roof Spoiler
Does a decent job of perking the A3's rear up while improving aerodynamics.
ABT Exhaust Valance
Fits the factory rear bumper spoiler and houses quad ABT exhaust tips. Because of the factory tow bar obstructs the diffuser in the center of the exhaust valance, the diffuser will not fit these front wheel drive Audi A3 engine variants: 1.4 TFSI, 1.6 FSI, 1.8 TFSI, 2.0 TFSI, 1.9 TDI and 2.0TDI.

ABT Styling for The Audi A3 Sportback & A3 Cabriolet
Except for the roof spoiler, all the styling components in this ABT Audi A3 body kit are shared by the Audi A3, A3 Sportback and A3 Cabriolet. The roof spoiler for the A3 and A3 sportback are slightly different and not interchangeable, while the A3 cabriolet doesn't need one, obviously.
The HPA Verdict
Our favorite part of the ABT body kit for the 2009 Audi A3 is the rear. We love those quad exhaust pipes and the integrated diffuser. Too bad about the tow bar issue with some of the FWD A3 models. We had to pluck up the courage to cut into our factory fenders to install the ABT fender inserts, but in the end the install went well and we felt the results were worth it.
This ABT body kit turns the heat up several notches on this hot hatch, and when matched with the right wheels make the Audi A3 look and feel powerful. We didn't find much wrong with this body kit, so if you did - or didn't - let us know below.
